GARY AND JAN FOCKLER

We are happy and honored to be recognized by our friends and family of G.W.R.R.A.

 

We have been married since October 10, 1970.  I was born and raised in Shepherd and Gary is from Elm Hall.  He went to High School in Alma.  We have three daughters:  Christy, Pam and Kelli.  Christy is married to Joe and we have one granddaughter, Stephanie.

 

Gary served in the Army from March 1971 through December 1972.  We did some moving around at that time. 

 

Before we were married, Gary owned a Harley Spring 250.  He had quite a few problems keeping it running.  Like we haven’t heard that before!  We rode his brother’s Honda quite a bit.  Then on April 22, 1990, Jim Bohlman lead us to G-2’s kick-off.  Fantastic day!  I soon became Sunshine Lady.  Much later, Gary became Historian.  Then 1994, we were Assistant Chapter Directors.

 

We’ve gone to many rallies, Wing Ding, Kick-Offs, Chapter Events and Wingless Weekend.  In April 1994, we traded our 1200 for a Pearl White 1500 and we got a sidecar for Kelli.  We went out west that summer.  We hope to have many more good times with G.W.R.R.A.
