Gary is a Michigander from Grand Rapids.  Teresa was born and raised (but not too high!) in Brandon, Florida.  We were married on April 23, 1988 in Riverview, Florida.  We have two children and six grandchildren.

 

In 2001, Gary’s best friend Larry Almas had bought a Yamaha Venture Royale and joined GWRRA.  After being invited to a couple of dinner rides and meetings, we decided to be a part of the wonderful group.  Larry had bought a second bike and loaned us one of his until we could get our own.  In August, 2002, we bought our first Gold Wing – a 1985.  (We bought our 1500cc Gold Wing in April 2004.)

 

Since joining GWRRA, we have held a variety of staff positions with Chapter G-2 including:  Sunshine Lady; Door Prize Co-Ordinator; Goodies Guy; Web Master and are now Assistant Chapter Directors.

 

It is a distinct honor to have been chosen as Chapter Couple of the Year.
