In 2004 if someone would have said Debbie would be on a motorcycle, she would have said you were all crazy, because of the fear factor of it all. Hank kept at me all summer saying doesn’t that look FUN, little did I know he was reeling me in like a fish. Hank convinced Robert and Marsha Nichols from R-2 to bring their bike over and try to get me on it for a ride. Needless to say, she loved it and the next spring we bought our 1993 Black 1500cc. We then joined GWRRA because all we wanted was the Wing World magazine to look at the pictures. We went to R-2’s ice cream social, and that was where we said we needed to find a chapter to have fun and ride with. We heard about G-2 meetings and attended our first meeting in 2006, where we found out you do not say anything or they will put you to work. And the rest is history. We were installed as ACD’s in November of 2007 and are in charge of the bike tickets. Never did we imagine that we would find so many friends within our chapter and throughout all of the GWRRA family. We have been married almost 9 years and we hope to enjoy many great rides together and with our GWRRA friends.
