While it is true our Chapter has a good time year round, the main reason we all came together in the first place was to enjoy the company of others while out Riding. We are soon going to be FULL SWING into our Riding Season and our Ride Coordinators have worked very hard to prepare a great list of rides that should prove interesting to all. We really appreciate the “special efforts” of all these guys who have spent so much time and effort to come up with enjoyable activities for us all. THANKS GUYS! GWRRA has a slogan, “Friends for Fun, Safety and Knowledge”. This very simple but powerful phrase used by everyone in our Organization, summarizes why most everyone feels comfortable Riding with any of the 800 GWRRA Chapters. GWRRA promotes the concept of FRIENDS having FUN with SAFETY promoted at all times while out Riding. There is also a great deal of discussion focused on learning as much as we can about becoming more well-informed Riders through KNOWLEDGE shared amongst Chapter Members and promoted through special input from our Chapter Educators. I remember sitting in a Restaurant 6 years ago while out on a long Solo Ride and looking out the window as a large group of Goldwings passed by. It was at that moment I decided that someday, my wife and I would find a group just like that to enjoy. After a lot of research into different Motorcycle Clubs and Organizations, it became apparent to me that GWRRA had exactly what we were looking for. We have now been GWRRA Members and Riding with our “family of friends” at Chapter H for many years and we couldn’t have made a better choice. If you are looking for a group to Ride with, come on out and see what we are all about. We think you will enjoy it as much as we have. |
