The "Thunder Bay Wings" are very active in our community. We are a giving group of individuals and are concerned about the needs in our community. Because of this our main charity for this year is Shelter, Inc., which is an organization that caters to the needs of abused women and children. We raise money to support our charity through various activities. Our main fund raising is through our Fun Run and dinner donations collected at our meetings. We also, support the District's charity, "The Rainbow Connection", through the sale of the bike raffle tickets.
We also love to have fun and enjoy the great outdoors. We are fortunate to live in such a beautiful area of Michigan on the shore of Lake Huron, so we take advantage of this through our annual Fun Run. We have a great time at this event, so check the "District Event Page" in the spring to mark the date and check later to download our flyer for this event.
