Gold Wing Road Riders Association

The Rainbow Connection is a non-profit organization established in 1985. Their mission is to grant wishes to children from Michigan that have life threatening illnesses.

Criteria For Wishes

1. A wish must be affordable, attainable, and achievable.

2. The child must be between the ages of 3 and 18

3. The illness must be verified by a licensed physician.

4. The child must not have received a wish from any other organization.

Some of the wishes of these dying children have been shopping sprees, computers, and the most requested wish of all, a trip to Disney World. The family is always included in these wishes, memories are so important.

After the wish has been granted the children are not filed and forgotten. Through the Wish Enhancement Program more fun events are provided for the child and the family. These have been everything from tickets to sporting events, movies, and circuses to trips to the zoo or picnics. This continues to provide the children with events to look forward to and more memories for the family.

Fund raisers and private donations support them. They also receive some support from businesses and corporations.

We chose them as our charity because it's People from Michigan helping Children in Michigan.
