e. After you receive your log on information go to Manage My Record
f. Click continue
g. Enter your User Name and Password and click Log On
h. At a successful log on you will see Welcome (your name), click continue
i. At the bottom of the screen choose Change Address button
j. At the next screen make any necessary corrections and choose Submit Changes.

Remember there are three ways to update your membership record, call, email or online. 

one without a doubt is the State Rally.  The support we received there was great.  We said lets do the best dressed competition and 6 other couples jump up and joined us.  When it was time to parade into closing ceremonies the calls from above made the wait less stressful.  The cheering when we were introduced was deafening.  Everyone showed how our chapter rocks.  Yes, I think we got on some nerves but Chapter J does rock and we have to let everyone know it.  Those of us at Wing Ding even told everyone there about Chapter J.   
 This was our year; the new couple will make their own year.  If they want to travel a lot or just a little that will be OK.  If they want to make up new vests or not that will be OK.  No matter what they want to do with their year, it will be OK.  Because it is their year and the only advice we can give them is just be yourselves.  Ride when you want, dress as you please, but just keep on having fun and being the couple you are.  That is why you are chosen and that is what the chapter expects. 
 Chapter members PLEASE think back and pick someone to represent us for 2009.  Someone who you want to honor as you have us.  It can be anyone but Don and I.  A past Couple of the Year is eligible again but not 2 years in a row.  Together we can keep the Couple of the Year feeling special and let someone know how much they mean to all of us.

Couple of the Year 2008

As Dale said at our last chapter gathering it's time to nominate our next Couple of the Year.  Take a few minutes to think back on this year and see who was at the rides, or helping with fundraisers, or just having a good time.  See, that is what the Couple of the Year is all about.  Just participating and having fun.  Nothing is required of the new couple, just continue having fun.  This is an opportunity for the chapter to recognize someone who has been out there representing Chapter J and for the couple it is an honor bestowed by the chapter for being themselves.
 This past year has been exciting for Don and me.  We have tried to get Chapter J out in the district.  While we did that, we put about 6000 miles on our bike.  That's not a lot for some people, but I am impressed.  We have gone to 2 state rallies, the region rally, a camp out in Canada, and of course Wing Ding.  We have paid a visit to 6 or 8 other chapters, and we have captured the traveling plaques more than once.  All this was done with the company of other chapter members (a.k.a. family).  When we weren't at something, we knew we were missed because someone would always ask us why we didn't make it.  Without this family all these travels would not have been as much fun.  Maybe that is why GWRRA includes it in their motto. 
Being honored by our chapter is why we have done all this.  We feel that we are the ambassadors for Chapter J no matter where we go.  This is why we tried to be seen in our best chapter dress.  Even when the weather was hot or wet, we tried to be sure everyone knew our chapter cared about us and named us their representatives.  We couldn't be prouder of our vests that have Chapter J Couple of the Year 2008 embroidered on the back.  We will continue wearing them even after our year is over as a reminder to us how much you cared.
