Wing Riders had a membership spin off, which established Chapter "M2" in the eastern portion of the Upper Peninsula.

Charity

In 1985 - 1986 and 1987 - 1988, Chapter "M" had the U.P. Ride for Jerry's Kids for MDA. All four years the Chapter accumulated considerable money per-mile, which was presented at the Jerry Lewis Telethon.

Chapter "M" has also been very successful with selling tickets for various "WISH" foundations. Starting in 1984 with 500 raffle tickets, every year after. by 1987 selling 3500 tickets and maintained that number to present.

Events

One of Chapter "M" major accomplishments was put together in 1991 by Dave Hyndman. The largest Tour package available to GWRRA members. "The Upper Peninsula Superiorland Grand Tour". The tour has many different things of offer the tour rider. wilderness ride, water edge ride, miles of great open highway. The U.P. Grand Tour was designed by Dave Hyndman. Since 1991 to the present, the tour leader has been Dave.

Known as the "U.P. Mini Rally" 1987 to present, the Pig Roast/Campout held at Wandering Wheels Camp Ground, is the on thing Chapter "M" is best known for.

Programs

In 1983 the Michigan State Director asked was Fuller to write and establish a bike judging program. the program was written, established and implemented at the State Rally in 1983. Very successful, in 1985 was was asked by the National Director of the GWRRA to come to Wing Ding and present this program for possible Nation wide bike judging. The program however, was not adopted nationwide, but is still continued at the District Rally and has been run by Chapter "M" for eleven long years.
