Welcome to the "Mint Wings" website. If you love to ride, laugh and have a great time on your Gold Wing drop us an email or stop by and join us for breakfast. Summer meetings (June - September) are held the 2nd Monday of the month @ 6:00 PM in the St. Johns Park at the pavilion located near the new band shell. These are brief update meetings (we still hold our monthly breakfast meeting the 4th Sunday of the month @ 9:00 AM at the Main Street Cafe) with a ride following, weather permitting. We monitor CB Channel 32.

Chapter U is located in St. Johns, Michigan north of Lansing. St. Johns is known as the mint capital of Michigan. In late July and August, you can smell the fragrance of mint in the air, due to the harvesting of peppermint and spearmint plants. For this reason, the members of Chapter U adopted the name "Mint Wings". We love to have fun riding with our fellow motorcyclist, especially when the area mint growers harvest their mint. We invite you to join us for breakfast and spend the day exploring our area.
One of the better known mint farms is Mint Grove Farms. Visit their website to learn more about the history of producing mint oil. It's our communities age old process that has been handed down through generations.
