Chapter U is located in St. Johns, Michigan north of Lansing.  St. Johns is known as the mint capital of Michigan.  In late July and August, you can smell the fragrance of mint in the air, due to the harvesting of peppermint and spearmint plants.  For this reason, the members of Chapter U adopted the name "Mint Wings".  We invite you to join us for breakfast and spend the day exploring our area. 

One of the better known mint farms is Mint Grove Farms. Visit their website to learn more about the history of producing mint oil. It's our communities age old process that has been handed down through generations.
