Don’t forget July 10th, J-2 is putting on a Endurance Ride and have asked Chapter Y to help work it with them. It will start at the Beaverton Township Hall on Dale Road. We have already got of few members that are willing to help at various check points but do need more to help and even ride the course. Please let Bob, Doug or Ted know if you plan on attending or helping. This will help give Chapter J-2 an idea towards the food that will be provided. Let’s give J-2 our support on their first Endurance Ride. It should be interesting and enjoyable for all. With July being so busy lets not forget our campout in Harrison and make your reservations NOW. We have until July 1st to get them in before they start giving our set aside lots away. The campground appears to be filling up so get your reservations in. We have a few things planned that is new this year so should be a lot of fun for everyone. We will be having a great ride followed by some games, supper, and a Chinese Auction not to forget a special opportunity to come and EARN YOUR WINGS Saturday after supper. For Chapter Y members, don’t forget your items for the Chinese Auction. Bob, Doug & Ted are collecting them. You can also bring them to the gathering on July 11th. We would like to get them sooner so we have an idea of what we might have to fill in. Thanks Chapter Y again for all your help. You make our Chapter work. Our Campout will be followed by the State Rally so don’t forget to get your reservations in. We do have a list of some of the Vendors that will be attending so if you are interested let one of us know and either Bobby or Doug will email you the list. Let’s have a good turn out for the rally especially for the opening ceremonies at 1:00 Friday. Chapter Y will be recognized as Chapter of the Year so please plan on attending and wear your colors. We will be marching in together as a group and need everyone’s participation if possible.
Just before publishing our monthly newsletter we heard of the passing of Gene Pratt. All of us in Chapter Y would like to extend our Deepest Sympathies to Rose and their family. May you find comfort in knowing our thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the future.
Until next time, ride safe, have fun, and enjoy life.
