Salutations! Chapter E’s fun Run was June 22. Dale and I were in Pennsylvania at our nephew’s graduation from high school. Rob and Pam Robinson and Tom and Sue Reed from Chapter D2 went. There was a pie in the face for Charity and Sue Reed won second place in the poker hand for co-rider. Yea! Also on June 22 some members of D2 Doug, Arlene Turner and Lloyd, Shirley Lintz were in Stockbridge taking a rider education class for trikes. D2 members were everywhere having fun. On June 26 Lloyd Lintz led a great ice cream run to the Village Restaurant in Lennon, Mi. It was a beautiful evening for a ride around 20 bikes made the run. Then the big day arrived June 29, the day of our chapter D2’s Ride through Hell and back Fun Run. The day didn’t start out good Dale was sick with a temperature of 102.8 and it was raining. I left Dale home and went to help at the Fun Run. The skies cleared and people came. We had lots of fun. Thanks everyone for all the help. When many help the load is light. Dale and I were not able to go to Wing Ding because Dale was sick. Chapter D2 members Rob and Pam Robinson and Tom and Sue Reed went. They had a great time it was the first time for Rob and Pam at a Wing Ding. Tom said there were some beautiful roads to ride on down there. Rob, Pam, Tom and Sue stopped at Duck town and took a picture. I read it was a quacking good place. At the July Chapter Gathering Dale and I brought a cake for everyone a thank you to all who helped with ticket sales. The cake tasted great. On top of the cake we had a picture of Nancy Hrigora, Greg Greene and Karen Smith selling tickets. Dale gave a special thank you to Lloyd and Shirley Lintz and Moose and Bev Musolf they were the first and second place in who sold the most tickets. Without everyone’s help there wouldn’t be a chapter. Looking forward to the good times ahead. Dale and Candy |
