Chapter E2 is part of Region D which includes chapters in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. To celebrate the founding of Chapter E2 in 1990, an Anniversary party is held the third week of January. The Chapter was Chartered January 13, 1990 The Chapter was initially Known as "The Shiawassee Road Riders" Due to Owosso being known as "Curwood Country" after the late James Oliver Curwood, Writer & Author, who was from Owosso. The name was changed to "Curwood Country Wings" in October 1992. The original Chapter Patch was circular in shape and yellow in color with Blue stitching. The current patch, which was created by Perry Maynard and Jim Cylmer, former area Reps, is rectangular in shape and red in color with multi-color stitching of the Curwood Castle. Our meetings are the third Sunday of the month at 9:00a.m. at Oliver's in Downtown Owosso . Come early for breakfast. Dinner rides are the first Wednesday of the month with departure at 6:15p.m. All rides leave from the Meijer parking lot at the corner of M-21 and State Road in Corunna. E2 monitors CB channel 5.
