CD, Conrad Smith, started the meeting at 9:12 AM by announcing that since yesterday was Veteran's Day, we would ask one of our veteran's, Larre Haskell, to lead the "Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag."   He welcomed all our guests including Pat & Marie Beaudoin the Assistant District Directors.  Ken & Char Kendall  thanked the chapter for the support that was given because of their granddaughter's accident.  She is doing well and continues to show improvement. 

Conrad talked about Ian Holmes passing away and that donations can be made to the Penrickton School for the Blind.  Brad Garner talked about the funeral and the turn out of GWRRA members.  Pat Beaudoin talked about all the things that Ian Holmes had done as a GWRRA member and how well he was liked by all the people that had worked with him. 

Conrad recognized all the veterans in our chapter and asked them to stand and tell us what branch of the service that they were in.  A flower was passed out to each of the veterans as a thank you for serving our country. 

Bev Seeburger passed out 2007 calendars that were brought in by Karen Papworth.

Conrad talked about the upcoming Christmas party on December 2, 2006.  Social hour will be 6:00 - 7:00 PM.  Dinner will be served at 7:00 PM - we will be having Swiss steak, baked chicken, potatoes, green beans, pineapple upside down cake, and more.  The cost will be $13.00 each or $26.00 per couple with checks being made payable to Chapter W.  There will be a $10.00 gift exchange for those who would like to participate, guys
