I see that the midnight run is scheduled for Aug 19th 2005. Is that the day that it leaves from 5/3 ball park. Is it always the third Friday in August. What time Friday night will it leave 5/3.

I have a 1984 1200 gl it has no bags or fairing, my wife would like to ride with me but she doesn't like not having a backrest. Is it possible to get the rear bags trunk, seat combo? If even I could get a short sissy bar any help would be appreciated. Thank You

It's great that you and your wife are interested in joining up with GWRRA. There are no age restrictions to be a member of the organization.

If you let me know where you live I can get you in touch with a chapter director in that area and they will be glad to provide you with all the information about the organization and answer any questions you might have.

You can also find a chapter in your area my selecting the map of Michigan or the District Sections button on the home page of the district website. The map is broken up into sections of the state. By selecting the area you live in it will list the chapter closest to your home town.

What's This Camping Fee For The Michigan Rally in 2006. We Never Had To Pay This before. Thank you For Your Time

The $5 fee is to help cover some the additional expense at the fairground this year such as an increase in the cost of the electricity. The Indiana and Ohio rally in addition to the Region rally do have an additional charge for the campers. You can contact Chris and Sally Bobek if you have any additional questions.

My brother-in-law and I (Valkyrie riders) are planning a June motorcycle trip to the upper peninsula in mid-June. We have never been to Michigan and the Great Lakes area before. Can you provide any advice on definite places to see, places to avoid, suggested roads and sites, etc.

We are currently planning to ride up the shore (Rt 23) from Bay City to Mackinaw City to the U.P. We want to tour the U.P. and anticipate an overnight in Marquette before returning through Menominee into Wisconsin for the trip home to East Tennessee.
